WITH Motorcycling Victoria’s Elite Rider Training Camp just over a month away, riders are eagerly awaiting the chance to hear those off-bike tips and tricks that will get them closer to their goals. One of those riders is Lochie Amos.
MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp is due to to take place on July 10-12 at the Melbourne Parkview Hotel.
Another Enduro focused rider, Lochie has been taking part in all of the Victorian Off Road Championship (VORC) rounds thus far and performing extremely well in the J4 class.
“I’ve raced every round of the VORC, as well as rounds three and four of the Australian Off Road Championship,” Lochie said.
“I’m planning on heading to SA for the Renmark round of the AORC in two weeks time too,” Lochie added.
In the VORC so far Lochie has finished: 1st in Round 1, 2nd in Round 2, 1st in Round 3, 1st in Round 4 and 1st in Round 5 and he is well on his way to achieving a goal for 2017.
“My goals for this year are to win the J4 class and also go well in a few rounds of the AORC,” Lochie said.
“For 2018 I’ve set some goals that are to win my class and do every round, rather than just a few, of the AORC.”
When it comes to the Training Camp, Lochie is just looking forward to getting that extra coaching.
“I’m looking forward to some professional coaching from experienced people in the business, I hope to sharpen my skills for my future racing,” Lochie added.
