Each student who participates in the MotorSafe Program
will receive a Certificate of Participation from Motorcycling Victoria. Certificates are
distributed after the MotorSafe representative has visited your school.
Press Release Service
A Press Release service will be incorporated into the
pack. A Press Release will be faxed to local press before
the MotorSafe representative visits your school.
Support Desk
The MotorSafe representative can be contacted at the Motorcycling Victoria office on (03) 9482 5422 during business hours, or alternatively by email on info@motorcyclingvic.com.au
School Visit
The MotorSafe representative will visit your school,
with a member from the local motorcycle club, and deliver one part of the
MotorSafe Program. The MotorSafe representative will talk to the students,
amongst other things, about the law, motorcycle skills and safety and riding
equipment. The local club member will be in attendance with a motorcycle, with
which he will show the students the different components of the motorbike, and
he may even start the bike up for them to listen to. The school visit is an
exciting, hands on experience for the students, and a fun way to learn about
motorcycle safety.
Come 'n' Try Day
A couple of weeks after the school visit, the local
club will hold a Come 'n' Try Day for the students to attend if they wish. It
will be held at the clubrooms of the local club, and is free of charge to the
students. This is a fantastic way for those who take a keen interest in
motorcycling to get further involved.
