2014 Management Committees

In order for the sport to run smoothly, each discipline is controlled by their own separate Management Committee.

Towards the end of each year Motorcycling Victoria calls for nominations for each Management Committee for the following year. These nominations are then assessed by the MV Board who will select the individuals that will make up each Management Committee.

Currently MV has 12 Management Committees. They are:

Moto Trial
Women


Classic Motocross

The Classic Motocross Management Committee are responsible for the management of Classic Motocross events, including VIPER, in Victoria.

Currently the Committee consists of four members. The members are:

The Dirt Track Management Committee is responsible for the management of Dirt Track events across Victoria.

Enduro

The Enduro Management Committee are responsible for the management of Enduro events across Victoria, including the Victorian Off-Road Championships. They also look after the Victorian teams for the Australian 4-Day Enduro.

Women's Committee

MV’s first ever Women’s Committee was formed in January 2012, with a variety of disciplines and expertise. The aim and purpose of the Women’s Committee is to raise awareness to increase overall female participation for now and the future.

The committee will be largely responsible for identifying and improving specific areas of the sport, including officiating and coaching, to ensure the ongoing development of Victoria’s female riders and encourage females to come and try and enjoy all facets of motorcycle sport.
