MotorSafe Program Information Night on August 1
July 30, 2012

An Information Night will take place at MV on Wednesday, August 1 at 7.30pm to update clubs on changes to the program.

IN 2012 Motorcycling Victoria's MotorSafe Program will be out in force - working for clubs - by presenting the program to thousands of school students across the state, along with the goal to grow your club.

The MotorSafe Program not only educates children on motorcycle safety but also provides parents and students an understanding of the incredible benefits of being involved with a motorcycle club.

This year the focus of the MotorSafe Program has shifted towards MV's affiliated-clubs. In previous years, schools and students have been easily accessible to MotorSafe, but the club aspect of the program has been lacking. With MV's new MotorSafe Officer joining the team, Ms Misty Walton, more than seven clubs have already committed to the MotorSafe Program, by fostering closer working relationships, and the future is looking bright.

As plans are now building towards greater club involvement in 2013, MV would like to invite club delegates to our office in Port Melbourne for a MotorSafe Program Information Night on Wednesday, August 1 at 7.30pm.

The night will present a great chance to meet the new MotorSafe team, including the two new MotorSafe Presenters, as well as to discuss ideas about the program, highlight the program's benefits and the great opportunities on offer for your club, such as gaining new members, as direct result of being involved in the MotorSafe Program.

The two new MotorSafe Presenters, Darren Pay and Anthony Wolfe, and the MotorSafe Officer Misty Walton, will be there to answer questions, provide information and show clubs a short presentation on the newly-redeveloped MotorSafe Program.

On the night we will be also offering dates for clubs to be hosting Mini Licence Sessions for next year, and it is strongly suggested that prior to the night you discuss possible dates with committee members to ensure that you do not miss out on this great opportunity!

Some drinks and nibbles will also be provided on the night.

If you or any other member of your club would be interested in attending, please email Misty Walton at motorsafe@motorcyclingvic.com.au to confirm your attendance.
