MOTOCROSS Management would like to advise that the grading committee will meet on August 14, 2012 for the prospective grading of riders.
The decision to grade a rider is based on performance, times and consistency throughout the season to date at Open, Interclub and State events.
There is a range that is used to determine where a rider should be within the grade above for any rider to be successful in achieving his grading.
In 2012, Motocross Management will introduce Interclub/Club grading only. This is aimed at riders who are potentially not riding at the higher-grade ability of State or Open events but have the ability to achieve a result within an Interclub/Club event.
We stress this is an INTERCLUB/CLUB grading only and does not require a reallocation of a number within the higher-grade.
Any clubs having riders who should be considered within this group will need to email mxsecretary@motorcyclingvic.com.au (only this email) by August 3, 2012 for consideration.
All gradings will be available on the website on Friday, August 17, 2012, and riders will receive notification by email or mail by the MX Secretary.
The next grading will then be available December 19, 2012.
MOTOCROSS Management also wishes to advise that any Senior A-Grade rider holding a two digit number in 2012 and completed two rounds of the State Titles will retain this number automatically in 2013.
Riders who did not complete the required two rounds are asked to reply by email to mxsecretary@motorcyclingvic.com.au (only this email) advising the circumstances of not competing.
This information is required by Friday, August 3, 2012 on the above email address for consideration.
Riders will be advised by mail or email by the MX Secretary.
