Motorcycling Australia (MA), in conjunction with the Australian Sports Commission, have developed the two current levels of accreditation:
Level 1 – Introductory and Club level coaching
Level 2 – Intermediate and National level coaching

Level 1 Coaching Accreditation courses are conducted by the State Controlling Bodies (SCB's) of MA - please contact your relevant SCB for further information about courses.
Level 2 Coaching AccreditationLevel 2 Coaching Accreditation is administered by Motorcycling Australia, and conducted through an intermediate course designed to extend the Level 1 coach's ability to confidently and safely coach. The course is aimed at Level 1 coaches seeking to coach at a higher performance level.

Coaching accreditation lasts four years, but a Motorcycle Sport coaching licence is for one year. For a Motorcycle Sport coach to be recognised by Motorcycling Australia they must renew their coaching licence on an annual basis.

In order to extend the accreditation period by another four years (re-accredit) it is necessary to perform updating activities that develop your skills as a coach - this includes both sport specific tasks and general sports tasks.The following are examples of activities that will count towards your re-accreditation:
