The seven-man Australian squad delivered an evening of commanding performances to seal the win over the Lions 53-39.
Darcy Ward led the green and gold point haul, with the 20-year old Queensland charger collecting a standout 14 points across four mid-match heats. South Australian duo Troy Batchelor and Rory Schlein bumped up the tally, with Batchelor picking up 11+1 and Schlein recording 9+2.
New South Wales native Jason Doyle chalked 8+2 onto the board, while Team Captain Davey Watt finished the match with 7+1. The Australian tally was rounded off with formdiable additons from Victorian riders Ty Proctor and Cameron Woodward, with Proctor taking 3+1 and Woodward collecting 1.
Regular Team Australia fixtures Jason Crump and Chris Holder were absent from the clash, with both riders resting up with injuries - Crump with a broken collarbone sustained in a league match in Russia, and Holder with rib injuries aggravated during the last round of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix.
The win was a sweet reward for the Australian side, who were whitewashed in the two-match 'Ashes' Test Series at Poole and Lakeside last year. Australia has now recorded back-to-back wins against Great Britain, having also dusted the Lions during Event 2 of the FIM Speedway World Cup last month.
