Muswellbrook Long Track round-up
December 14, 2009

With 60 odd entries, the Muswellbrook Logn Track event went ahead and turned out to be a great meeting - no bad accidents and the usual high standard of racing that is the trademark of Dirt and Long Track Racing.

Rowan Tungate - now back full time Dirt Track - showed good speed along with Luke Richards , Alan Mc Donald, Josh Bennett, Marty Mac and Jacko Jeffreies.

Jefferies and Jack Stevens put on a good show along with all the Triumph boys .

The outfits were all close and the Kurrri Kurri club did a fantastic job.

The next big meetings are :

- Gosford  Best Pairs Solos Meeting on Boxing day .
- Newcastle - Australian Solo Titles Final Round  - Jan 9th
- Gosford  - Speedway Sidecars  Jan 30th
- Tamworth - Australian Long Track Titles  - Feb' 6th  .

The meeting at Tamworth will be huge, as they are expecting up to 30 Long Track sliders including Darcy Ward and Chris Holder, along with many of our Australian racers who usually ride in the UK.

To add spice to the main Motocross frames classes, it is rumoured that retired multi-Australian Champion Graeme Smith will be racing the KX 500 and YZ 250, while it would certainly make interesting racing to see Smith locking horns with Paul Caslick again
