2010 will see a range of exciting new venues introduced including:

• The first ever Super X round under lights in Melbourne
• A round at the brilliant Energy Australia Stadium in Newcastle in front of Chad Reed’s fanatical fans
• Further overseas expansion with two rounds in New Zealand. One in Auckland and one in Dunedin on the South Island in consecutive weeks

“Supercross will be taken to a whole new level yet again in 2010 and I am so pleased that we are kicking off the 2010 series with our first ever round in Newcastle,” said Mal Peter, General Manager of Super X.

“With Chad racing in front of his home crowd combined with the strength of the bike market and amount of fans there, it will be the perfect way to start the huge series we have planned.   

“We have also expanded the series in New Zealand demonstrating its growth and development into a truly Australasian Championship.”

Further announcements on exciting new initiatives and big name riders in both supercross and FMX who will be competing in the series will be made in coming weeks.
