Elite riders have now been chosen for MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp in September!
THE Selection Panel met during the school holidays in April and discussed everyone’s Applications to participate in Motorcycling Victoria’s Elite Rider Training Camp in September.
“Firstly, I want to thank everyone for sending in their Applications and showing interest in the Training Camp,” MV’s Development Officer Mark Vallance said.
“The Panel had a very tough time getting the list down to just 12 riders – they were in the boardroom for close to 4 hours!” Mark added.
References were contacted for a bit of extra information, but not all, and Mark would like to thank everyone who put in the effort in applying and those who were contacted during the selection process.
The 12 riders that the Panel decided upon are as follows:
Josh McHenry (Dirt Track/Road Race)
Sam Stockman (MX)
Tom Mason (Enduro)
Stuart Holt (Enduro)
Andrew Wilksch (Enduro)
Iilish Ross (Dirt Track)
James Alen (MX)
Ted Collins (Road Race)
Jack Matthews (Enduro)
Emma Milesevic (MX)
Jake De Zwart (MX)
Lyndon Snodgrass (Enduro)
“Well done to those riders who were chosen for this year’s Elite Rider Training Camp,” Mark said.
“To the riders who have missed out, the Panel wanted me to stress that you should all apply to the next Camp run by MV, which should be a yearly thing from now on, as you are all fantastic riders and it really was a tough afternoon for them,” Mark added.
The three coaches Merv Williams, Chris Gray and Rob Jenner will now be putting together training materials for the camp alongside the presenters ready to be sent out in August.
MV’s Elite Rider Training Camp takes place on September 15-17.
