Motorcycling Victoria would like to remind members and officials that there have been recent changes to Working With Children Check laws.

Please pay particular attention to the Child Related Work section. This effects our sport, as well as every other sport in Victoria, with the removal of Supervision.
In our sport we had previously just had Steward/Referee and Clerk of Course as the only accreditations that required a Working with Children Check and simply recommended that other accreditations went and got one.
The law will come into effect from August 1, 2017 to say that everyone will require a Working with Children Check.
Please read the information provided in the link above and then head to your local Post Office to pick up a Working with Children Check form OR complete it online via the Department of Justice website.
