The week of October 5th to 12th will be 'Victorian Trials Week' as Victoria hosts its annual Victorian Championship and also the 2008 GasGas Motos Australia Australian Moto Trials Championship. Sandwiched between these two events is a Gate Trial at Mt Bolton, about 26km north west of Ballarat. The Sporting Motorcycle Club will host the 2008 Victorian Moto Trials Championship at Anakie on Sunday October 5th with riders coming from near and far to compete. Just six days later the 2008 GasGas Motos Australia Australian Moto Trials Championship gets underway at 'The Springs' at Sedgwick, roughly 15km south of Bendigo. Earlier this year GasGas Motos Australia secured the naming rights to the Australian Moto Trials Championship. Mal Loone from GasGas Motos Australia were very pleased with the deal. "We considered this to be a great opportunity for us to give something back to the sport and we look forward to a great event," Mal said at the time. The week concludes on Sunday October 12th with a Presentation Dinner at the Quality Inn All Seasons in Bendigo. All riders are welcome to attend and can book their place by completing the Order Form in the Entry Form and Supplementary Regulations (see below). Entries for the Victorian Championship close on Thursday 2nd October whilst for the Australian Championship entries will close on Friday 12th September.
