Alex Gobert’s Road Race Performance Academy will host its final event of the year at Broadford, Victoria, on 12 December, wrapping up what has been an exceptional inaugural year for the all-new rider training program. Gobert and his staff of RRPA coaches, which includes 2004 Australian Superbike and Supersport Champion Adam Fergusson, will visit the 2.1-kilometre Victorian for the first time with the program right as summer heats up. Participants who sign up for the recently reduced price of $275.00 for the day will be taught helpful techniques to assist with cornering, body position, braking, throttle control, shifting, vision and much more. Every student receives a show bag on arrival, with prize giveaways and course completion certificates awarded at the end of the day. |

The RRPA program encourages all skill levels of riders to participate, with separated groups including Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels to accommodate for everybody from track first-timers to experienced racers. The Broadford event comes following a trio of popular schools held in the second half of this year, where RRPA visited Wakefield Park, Oran Park and Winton with great success. Entry forms and further information regarding the course are available on the official website at www.rrpa.com.au. Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement regarding the 2009 program and its calendar as details are finalised. ALEX GOBERT: “The Broadford event is already looking to be the biggest of the year to date as entries begin to flow in, so we can’t wait to provide to program for yet another group of enthusiastic riders. It’s hard to believe that we are already coming to the end of our first year with the school, but I am extremely proud of what we have been able to achieve in such a short time.” |
