Additional classes such as Historics and Sidecars may be included to compete at selected rounds depending on entrant numbers. Detailed class information including machine and rider eligibility and schedules is currently being finalised and will be available shortly. Adam Bailey, Event Manager at Frontline Media Group, the new promoters of ASBK, said a lot of consideration went into the calendar to ensure maximum benefit and exposure for ASBK. "In constructing this calendar, careful consideration has been given to avoid date clashes with other major events and maximise opportunities such as weather and public holidays. "Faced with the broad and varied challenges and objectives of all involved from privateers to factory racers, race teams and manufacturers, we have done all we can to create a calendar that best meets the needs of the majority of entrants. Frontline Media Group has also launched the new 2009 ASBK website (www.asbk.com.au) containing news, results, photo galleries and a full race calendar. 2009 Australian Superbike Championships Calendar
